been a long time since i last update !

it is august now & end of year examination round the corner !
so are you guys ready ? our seniors are all busying preparing for their
O & N lvl this year ! wish they all the best & hope will pass with flying colors ( :

last 3 weeks , our classmate chenswee was being suspended from school
due to certain reasons & yesterday he just came back to school .
all the best to him & hope he do study hard & behave well in school &
this few week , we're all busying with class-tests ! BUSY week ya !!! wooosh ~

BE YOURSELF DAY

Hello 3D, Next Friday is 26th of May and that is be yourself day. you can dress up your own way or anyway u like so long as it is decent and not revealing. it is adviceable not to dye your hair.. A reminder we will be opening a tattoo stall that day outside e library remember to ask your friends to come and patroise our stall.. pls help our class committee members to help tend e stalls and prepare e banners and posters. thanks...

CIP - FLAG DAY !

few nums of our classmates did not turned up .
we had CIP at bukit batok area .
we went to bukit batok community club
to collect the tins before we went to
do our CIP . each one of us got one tin .

we sperate into groups & set off .
we have to meet return the tins back to
the community club by 4pm ! so around 3.45pm
most of us went back to the community club
and returned the tins , as it is only a one way
trip to there so we made our own way back .

FUN ? we did something good for today !

3rd period - Physics lesson ; we was a lil too
loud ? =X hakim was invited to the front of the
class for a before recess interview or show ,
we laughed ! because it was like a tv show ya !

after recess was Maths , msTHAM nort here !

RAINED in the morning , spoilted your mood ?

it spoilted my mood , hate to walk under the rain ,
esp when going to school in the morning !

Had thermometer check & temperature taking
in the class , MsTham checked on us.

MsWaheeda isn't around in school .
But didn't affected us actually because
we was having our E.Maths Paper during
that period of time . she isn't in school because
she went to attend some course .

How is the Paper ? Fine ? Hope so ! =D.

today we had our combined humanities common test. for geog paper its a "can-can" paper. hope we will pass it. haha. history students had a hard tym i think. last min they were still writing their paper. poor thing. :(

tmr is E-maths. i hope everyone in 3d are mugging for it. maths is difficult but practice makes perfect. so everyone pls study hard for this upcoming common test. yeah?

LISTENING IN THE CLASSROOM

1. Go to class with an eagerness to learn

Sit in the front of the classroom.
Pay attention to the teacher.
Follow the outline of the lesson if it's on the blackboard or on a piece of paper.

2. Listen for the main points

How does the teacher organize the lesson?
Is the teacher giving you points from the most important to the least important and vice versa?

Listen for words and phrases like "The three most important factors...", "On the other hand...", "Now let's turn our attention to...", "Finally...", etc. These words help you to follow the sequence of the lesson.

3. Be an active listener

Summarize the main points of the lesson during pauses.
Draw conclusions for yourself.
Make connections between ideas in the lesson and real life. You will remember better this way.

4. Go to class with an open mind
Pay attention to what the teacher is saying. Below are some poor listening habits and how you can correct them.

or TV improves your mood, keep the volume low.

4. Does my Study Place contain all the study
materials I need?

and supplies such as pens and pencils, paper, ruler,
calculator, and whatever else you might need. If you
use a computer for your schoolwork, it should be in
your Study Place .

5. Does my Study Space contain a large enough
desk or table?

While working on an assignment or studying
for a test, use a desk or table that is large enough to
hold everything you need. Allow enough room for writing
and try to avoid clutter.

6. Does my Study Place have enough storage space?

You need enough room to store your study
materials. Be sure you have enough storage space to
allow you to keep your desktop or other work surface
clear of unnecessary materials that can get in the way.

7. Does my Study Place have a comfortable chair?

A chair that is not comfortable can cause discomfort
or pain that will interfere with your studying. A chair
that is too comfortable might make you sleepy. Select a
chair in which you can sit for long periods while
maintaining your attention.

8. Does my Study Place have enough light?

The amount of light you need depends on
what you are doing. The important thing is that you
can clearly see what you need to see without any
strain or discomfort.

9. Does my Study Place have a comfortable
temperature?

If your Study Place is too warm, you might become
sleepy. If it is too cold, your thinking may slow down
and become unclear. Select a temperature at which your
mind and body function best.

Practise good personal hygiene and

- wash your hand thoroughly and regularly with

nose or mouth and after going to toilet .

- cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when
coughing or sneezing.

- see a doctor if you are unwell .

- go not go to school or when you are ill .

- never spilt in public places

- when sharing food at meal times ,
use a serving spoon.
